"Vertigo"

I am not sure of what it is that I am doing, but here goes nothing. By now you are probably well aware that this is my first blog along with the first time that I have seen the movie "Vertigo". At first I was a bit sketchy, but it turned out to be pretty interesting in the end. Mostly due to the groosom love affair that was going on between Scottie and Madeline, talk about a good soap?
I thought that Hitchcock did a great job in dealing with the strong gaze of the different characters within this film. It was also interesting to see how he placed his own thoughts and feelings within his character in the film, Scottie. Whether it was Scottie deeply falling in love with Madeline, or the fact that he then discovered that Madeline did indeed set her own death up.
I also found it to be pretty ironic how Madeline faked her own death, and then in the end, indeed did jump from the top of the tower to her death. It may sound a bit harsh, but she got what she had comming, especially pertaining to what she did to Scottie. All of this being said, I thought that it turned out to be a pretty solid movie. Thumbs up, Hitchcock
